Job Description
Summary:
The ideal candidate would understand how to create an incredible first impression as the face of our beautiful, unique property.
While checking in, registering and assigning rooms to guests, the Front Desk Agent would be a source of knowledge for the guest relative to the hotel, its amenities and nearby dining, entertainment and shopping.
This position will have day/afternoon shifts and overnight shifts.
Job Description:
All Front Desk Agent functions, i.
e.
the friendly and efficient checking in and out of guests.
All cashier functions to include accurate posting of charges to individuals and groups, and maintenance of cash receipts and hotel banks.
Reservation functions including entering and updating group files.
Concierge functions (instructing guest on local entertainment, etc.
)Adhere to the policies of the Resort as set forth in the Employee Handbook and report any observed violations to Human Resources.
Maintain the highest level of employee/guest relations.
Maintain a good working relationship with all Departments.
Monitoring, selling and posting items from the Sundries shop.
Handling phone calls, especially while being observed by quests in the lobby.
Politely address the needs of both guests in an appropriate and professional manner.
Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to take detailed phone messages is essential to our guests as is answering questions.
Provide travel directions, including road conditions, chain control over the phone and in person.
Understand the need for accuracy in posting charges to guests bills, handling questions and making adjustments regarding such bills as well as, collecting payment from guests is key to this position.
As Front Desk Agent, you will be the first and one of the last faces the guest sees so your ability to create and maintain a positive impression will truly set the hotel apart and lead to the return visit.
Operational focus will include working in total partnership with all team members from bell staff to valet through to housekeeping with the goal of delivering flawless service to one another and our guests.
In addition to, the night audit function entails the following:
Must be able to work with a high level of autonomy.
Prepares daily audit reports by collecting and summarizing revenue, settlement, and discrepancy data and trends.
Proofing and distributing reportsPerforms nightly F&B audit of MICROS reports run, and update Spa POS.
Post charges to guest rooms and/or house accounts as needed.
Familiar with all emergency and evacuation proceduresRemain calm and alert, especially during emergency.
Close guest accounts at the time of check out.
Research and perform revenue audit function.
Upon completion of audit, input information into night audit packs.
Research and respond to charge inquiries on a timely basis.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
