We are looking for a highly motivated Security Supervisor to join the team at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa.
The Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the Security Officers enforce the policy and procedures established for the Security Department as well as for the property.

Position Description & Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all interior and exterior security of the property during respective shift.
Will personally inspect and report to the Director of Security or Security Manager, any discrepancies that need attention to ensure the safety and security of the property, staff, and guests.
Will oversee incidents involving guests and employees.
Provide guidance and direction for the Security Officers.
Address complaints from guests in person.
Review written reports and activity summaries of Security Officers for completeness and accuracy.
Provide direction to assigned shift by assisting on calls for service.
Evaluate Security Officers' work performance.
Provide Director or Manager with pertinent information regarding major incidents occurring during shift.
Conduct periodic training exercises for security officers as needed or as deemed necessary by Director Manager.
When assigned, will be in charge in the absence of the Director or Manager.
Formal Education and Job-Related Requirements High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous law enforcement experience desirable.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Minimum six months experience as a Security Officer.
Ability to work with guests to resolve complaints in a positive manner.
Job-Related Physical RequirementsThis position requires the employee to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shift.
Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances between and within buildings on the property.
Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 200 lbs.
Sufficient manual dexterity in hands.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders at a rapid pace.
Ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges.
