We are looking for a highly motivated Kayak Guide to join the team at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa.
The Kayak Guide will lead and instruct lake Kayaking, fishing from the dock and kids programs.

Position Description & Job Responsibilities Lead and or help teach a variety of tours and activities Respond to guest's special requests needs problems issues and or concerns by contacting the Spa Director Supervisors or Managers in a timely manner.
Inventory and maintain all equipment Must be well acquainted with the lake its history and be able to relay that information in order to provide an enjoyable informative safe tours as well as understand the condition of our trails and local activities.
Keep the area free from trash and clutter.
Maintain the boats standard of cleanliness.
Report any safety or maintenance issues.
Report program statistics and guest feedback daily.
Respond to other duties as assigned.
Deliver articles to lost and found.
Formal Education and Job-Related Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Job-Related Physical RequirementsOccasional Sitting, Kneeling, Pushing and Pulling, Lifting up to 70 lbs.
Frequent Walking, Bending, Reaching, Balancing.
Constant Hand Eye Coordination, Standing, Walking, Manual Dexterity, Gross Motor Skills, Near Vision, Far Vision, Color Recognition, HearingEnvironmental Factors include Working; outside, alone, closely with others, Noise/Vibrations, above ground, with chemicals/detergents/cleaners, excessive heat/cold, humidity and dampness, walking on uneven surfaces, working around motorized equipment and machinery.
